trauma-sensitive yoga
an empowered & safe space for you to heal
Fostering a space of safety, openness, connection and stability, Your Healing Practice’s evidence-informed and trauma-informed yoga programs help participants practice being present with their bodies, emotions and sensations through breathwork, mindful movement and meditation. These yoga programs support emotional regulation and connection by developing interoceptive skills through focussing on their internal ‘felt’ experience rather than the alignment or what a posture looks like.
With programs available both online and in-person, we respect the lived experience and wisdom of participants and affirm their right to make choices about their own body and to work at their own pace in order to minimise fear of judgement and anxiety.
